Te Mata Bullnose Syrah Single Vineyard

Vinen er et blend af tre kloner af Syrah og har lagret 16 måneder på et mixture af franske egetræsfade. Dyb karmoisinrød farve og med auroma og smag af solbær, blomme, kanel og lavendel. Det er en rig og føjelig vin, der med bløde tanniner giver stuktur og lang eftersmag. Vinen vil fortsætte med at udvikle sig i flasken i de næste otte år. 94 point - Decanter: "Named after the famous British sports car, Bullnose Syrah was first produced in Hawke’s Bay in 1990. Deep and impenetrable in the glass, this is a cooler, black olive style of Syrah rather than a typical New World black cherry and berry fruit-forward wine. Fresh, crunchy and with some lovely depth and purity on the palate, this balances vibrancy with elegance and understatement. A fine expression of New Zealand Syrah that has excellent ageing potential."
