Flot mørk klar rød farve. Aromaen bringer minder om stor rød Bourgogne, med et mix af modne røde og sorte bær, violer og blommer. Smagen har en let frugtsødme, hvor fadet er fornemt integreret og bidrager til vinens kompleksitet. Et fremragende eksempel på Pinot Noirs evne til at være intens og elegant på samme tid, med en særdeles lang og blød eftersmag. Vinen kan gemmes op til 10 år fra høståret og vil med tiden udvikle en flot aroma af skovbund, svampe og bæressens.
